Ran one mile!!!  Wanted to go longer but resisted the urge.  Ahh, I love running.

Then I rode my bike to the gym, pool ran for 30 minutes, and rode back home.

Listened to lots of great talks today for LDS General Conference.  I love this weekend!  So many uplifting thoughts and reminders.

My hip flexor is still very weak and when I am laying on my back I can barely lift my left leg 4 inches from the ground. A month ago I couldn't lift it at all, so 4 inches is progress!  I bumped into Patti, my pilates reformer instructor at FAC yesterday and after talking to her I decided I will try a pilates reformer class or two next week to help strengthen my hips/core.

30 minutes of biking, 60 minutes of elliptical, 4X4 minutes of running.

My hip was a tad on the tight side but probably not from today, more likely it was from playing dodgeball last night.  There is a dodgeball tournament fundraiser going on at our kids school right now and one of the players on Aaron's team was injured in the game earlier this week.  I couldn't resist jumping in last night's game for a bit.  I haven't felt that much adrenaline in months!!  We won by a long shot and made it into the FINAL next Wednesday.

2X10 minutes of running, 90 minutes of elliptical.  Went to PT today and was encouraged with how well my range of motion is finally coming back.  I may try running 4-5 days this week to see if my hip can take it.

20 minute run!  Weights, core, hip work and 30 minutes on the elliptical/stair stepping contraption.

Was nice to bump into Colleen and Joanna and catch up.  Maybe someday I can actually join them for a run again.

30 minute run and 45 minutes of elliptical with intervals. I was rushed at the gym because I had to get to the dentist. I got a small filling in a molar and the entire left side of my face even into my ear canal was numb for a good three hours.

30 minute run and 30 mile bike ride with my friend Becky.  Windy conditions while cycling are not extremely awesome, but at least I had someone toughing it out with me.

Later in the day we went on a family hike to the peak of Green Mountain.  Well, we drove up Flagstaff mountain and hiked the mile and a half or so to the peak of Green Mt.  It was a fun hike with the kids and my father-in-law who was in town as well.  Then we went to Pearl Street to walk around and enjoy the post-CU-game people watching and street entertainment.  Enjoyed dinner at Pasta Jays and by that time we were all pretty wasted and ready to head home.

Ventured out for a complete 4 miles today!  Hip got tired after 3.5 miles, but not really painful.  Also did an hour on the elliptical afterwards.

SNOW!!!  We got about a foot of the white stuff last night.  It made everything look really pretty, minus the broken branches.  As I was shoveling the walk, I had just cleared one section and then a branch broke and dumped a bunch of snow and leaves back down.  We decided to walk to school and Ali wanted to join, but Aaron ended up taking the kids all they way to school and Ali and I turned around after half-way since she was moving half as fast.  I wasn't really up for slipping and sliding around for a run so I went to the gym and ran on the indoor track.  Also did an hour on the elliptical.

Ran around the indoor track at FAC again.  Also did the elliptical for an hour with no earphones (I gave mine to Aaron.)  There was a guy kicking his soccer ball around in the racquet ball court right below me with his headset on, listening to some tunes.  Every few minutes he would burst into song or whistle loudly, and I was glad I didn't have my earphones in or I may have missed that real life entertainment.

Later today I am flying to SLC for a girls weekend with some former BYU teammates.  Looking forward to catching up and having fun!  I wish I could run more since I'm sure we'll be doing some running, but I'll take what I can get.

Arrived in SLC last night for my girls weekend/reunion with some former BYU teammates.  Enjoyed dinner with my Mom and Sisters before having them drop me off at my friend, Jessie's home in the Sugarhouse area. This morning Jessie had to go to work (she is finishing up her fellowship in OBGYN at the University of Utah) so Amy and I slept in and then went to Draper to meet Amy's sister who happened to be in town.  We walked 4 miles with Amy's sister and then ran 5 miles afterwards.  Beautiful morning out on the Jordan River Parkway path.

Katie and Sarah joined the party later in the day and we all had a blast catching up over dinner.  Its amazing how we can spend so many years apart not even keeping in very close contact and then when we reunite we pick up right where we left off.  My smiling muscles were in serious fatigue when I finally put my head on my pillow well after midnight.

Started my run with Sarah, Katie, and Amy up City Creek canyon for 3 miles and then back down 1 mile to where Jessie was walking (she is 36 weeks prego so not exactly up for running straight up a hill).  Enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the Canyon and good conversation with friends.  Sarah, Katie, and Amy went up a couple more miles for a total 10 mile round trip.  I ended up with 4 running miles and a few more walking with Jessie.

Later that night we decided to go to the Roof restaurant since Jessie had a gift card from a friend she wanted to use.  We were puzzled at why people would actually pay $39/plate for food that was about as good as the Cannon Center cafeteria (BYU freshman know what I am talking about.)  I guess the atmosphere is what you are paying for since you are sitting just a few hundred feet away from the SLC Temple spires (gorgeous.)  The company I was with made it all that much more enjoyable as well.  Jami Caldwell met us afterwards and we got to hang with her for a while too.

Went on a nice walk from Jessie's house over to Sugarhouse park for a loop and back.  Sugarhouse park always reminds me of High School State CC meets.  Good times.

After our walk we went to Church together and then had to part ways for home but promised to not go eight more years before we have another girls weekend.  Ah, I love those girls.

Got a quick run in after Breanne's class Halloween Party and before Abe's.  I guess I didn't have to volunteer to help at both, but Ali and I both enjoyed the parties.

Took the kids trick or treating around the neighborhood with some friends and enjoyed the excitement.  When we got home we had them sort their candy, keep one of each type and donate the rest to the school fundraiser where a dentist donates money to the school and mails the candy to the troops overseas where they either eat it or share it with kids.
