9 miles in 7:30 pace

Warmed up 20 minutes, stretched a bit and did 7X50 stride pick-ups then just finished off my run at 7:30ish pace.

I'm concerned that all the weeding I did in my yard last weekend is causing me to develop OCD.  I kept having the urge to pick weeds that were in the middle of the trail this morning and by the time I got home I had two bulky handfuls of weeds.

No. No I didn't.

i am sure the forest service would love to hire you for trail maintenance. just put your "condition" on your resume.

I have plenty of weeds for you to pick here. I can make sure you satisfy your craving and don't suffer withdrawal. my pleasure.

I have 5.5 acres of all kinds of stuff to make someone with OCD have a stroke. Weeds, poison ivy, pasture, ticks, trees, thorns, etc...

That made me laugh so hard!

Have you tried putting some mesh down? You can cut holes out to fit it around existing non-weed vegetation and it prevents weeds from coming up. I highly recommend it!

Yeah I think I've picked enough weeds to satisfy me all year. I have some of the black tarp paper stuff down in some areas but not around the flagstone walkway and on my side/backyard area. Maybe I'll put some down there. I did spray a whole bunch of round-up though so maybe that will help a bit.
