Easy 9 around Countryside.  Took the kids to the dinosoar playplace at the mall this morning and then went to pilates reformer at noon.  Put the girls down for naps after lunch and took a nap while Abe played computer games.  Feeling much refreshed...gotta do some kind of tempo work tomorrow.  Aaron is riding all the way to the top of Mt. Evans (the 14,000 ft. mountain that is the backdrop of Denver in all the postcards) on Saturday morning, so I'm going to do my long run on Friday and just run on the treadmill at the gym on Saturday.

Hi! Yes, I would love to pursue track further. I was recruited to play another sport at my college and had an awful experience. I made an extremely hard decision to stop playing, which is why I have just started running. I think they are worried that I would have a similar experience. Also, I am very competitive and a perfectionist so I push myself sometimes too hard. But I feel like I am old enough to manage myself and it could actually be better for me to run with a coach who has experience in training. I am going to keep running and am hoping that maybe by next year they will be willing to give me a chance. ( I also do not think that they believe I could start running in college)
