Coach called me yesterday to check in and see how I'm recovering.  He suggested I take today off or just go for a bike ride.  I opted for some road biking in the beautiful cool sunshine.  Went up towards Boulder and back.  16 miles total.  Felt GREAT!

I also went in for some A.R.T. from Richey this morning.  He dug into both of my achilles and used his graston tools as well.  Caused me some good grimacing.  He also worked on my left hip since it is feeling a tad tight as well.  I love A.R.T.  Well, I don't actually love the pain while its being done, but the after affects are worth it.

I think your ART guy is better than mine.

Is it smokey up in Boulder area from that fire?

Hey, my achilles is bugging, too. So is Predog's. Must be something in the water. Or on the blog.

You might try eating more strawberries.

Carolyn-I heard it was very smokey Mon-Wed but I didn't notice anything here in Westminster. Boulder air wasn't bad yesterday though. Just a slight smell in the air. Such a pity. (Huge brush fire for those who didn't know).

Jon-Yeah those achilles are buggers. What do you do for yours? The foot intrinsic exercises my ART guy gave me seem to be helping (single leg squats, balance while writing alphabet with other leg while pinching toes down on the ground for balance, ect.) I also stand on a stair and stretch it down really well and then do leg lifts back to level, but not calf raises. He says the eccentric leg lifts will help lengthen the tendon.

Burt-Now I get it. :) Yes. Strawberries.
