4 miles in 8:24 pace

Even though we got a light dusting of snow last night and it was only 27 degrees on my run, I still felt a slight excitement of Spring because I could hear birds chirping.

I'm getting anxious for Spring.

Back to running today, eh. Are you feeling better?

From Nan Kennard on Mon, Mar 01, 2010 at 18:42:44 from 174.51.250.151

Yeah, after resting most of last week I was itching to get out. My hip is still weak but it seems to handle easy running just fine. Seems that my body has taken out a restraining order against all sub-7:00 pace running though, so I better obey or I'm sure to be punished again.

I love spring my favorite month I am so happy you got some training in and are feeling a little better :-)

Glad the hip lets you do some running; must be awfully hard to give up speed, though. We are in full blown early Spring here, weird and unnatural, but great for running.

We played outside all afternoon. My kids were bouncing with energy!

Hooray for a good run!

Glad you could get out and run! Your slow pace is the daily norm for mere mortals like myself haha I am sure you will see the underside of the 6:00 miles this year nevermind the 7:00 miles. Can't wait until you heal up and storm the line!

From Nan Kennard on Tue, Mar 02, 2010 at 11:33:49 from 174.51.250.151

Ah yes, Spring is the BEST!

April-I am obviously very mortal too. :) I am really enjoying the 8+ min/mile pace. Its just perfect.
