Returned home late last night from a week in Lake Powell.  It was pretty epic.  We sank a boat, weathered severe wind and rain, watched my brother-in-law get stitched up by a camp neighbor right there in camp, explored winding slot canyons, built sand canyons on the beach, lathered sunscreen every three hours, woke up to beautiful sunrises, savored breathtaking sunsets and billions of stars, wakeboarded some glassy water, and witnessed the marvel and wonder in my kids eyes as they experienced it all for the first time.

Slept 10.5 hours last night.  My body needed it after two weeks of not so great sleep.  Vacation is super fun and can also be exhausting.  Thankfully I felt very rejuvenated this morning though.  And now its "back to school" mode.  Only five more days of summer!
