Another slow, easy run.  But a RUN, nonetheless!  7 miles in 8:49 pace.  It just feels right to take it easy as my injury is still healing.  If I push the pace, it causes me to alter my form and I don't want that to cause an injury somewhere else.  Nice and sunny here again today.  Gotta love mid-50s in January!

so glad you can run. mid-50s is perfect running weather. it finally made it above 30 in logan yesterday, but the air is still the worst in the nation. cough. wheeze.

flatlander is in Denver. Tell him hi if you see him.

Yes, we are having lovely weather. I'm glad you are able to get out and run in it. I could actually keep up with you at the pace you're going these days.

Ah, the whole "altered stride causing a different injury" paradox. We are silly, us runners.

Hooray for feeling better!

so happy you could get out! I ran with MelodyJ this morning and she was telling us how AMAZING and TALENTED you are! best wishes for speedy healing!

Allie-I'm really sad for you and your horrible air. Good job getting in some solid mileage despite it though.

Burt-OH yeah we totally had him over for dinner and reminisced on old times! No we did not. Who is flatlander??

Carolyn-Yeah, its a comfy pace. If only we lived a little closer to each other.

Jon-Yeah, we ARE silly. I'm glad your hips are starting to feel better though.

Toby-Glad to hear your ankle is feeling better too. I totally hear ya; trying to do Dr. visits without kids is a great juggling act.

Amber-What Melody isn't telling you is how talented and amazing SHE is! And YOU TOO, for that matter. I'm jealous that you all get to train together. Sounds fun!

Nan - there are actually two flatlanders on the blog. One is a boy, and one is a girl. This is the one I was talking about : http://thurm.fastrunningblog.com/blog--26F-21-wind-chill-8-54-miles-in-ab/01-15-2010.html
